The Ministry of AYUSH has launched the Ayush Anudan Portal under the Ayush Grid initiative to modernise and digitise grant management across the AYUSH sector. The platform was launched by Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav with the aim of improving transparency, efficiency, and ease of access for institutions seeking government funding.
The Ayush Anudan Portal is a fully digital platform designed to streamline the entire grant approval process — from application submission and document verification to approval, monitoring, and fund management. Earlier, grant-related procedures largely depended on manual paperwork and physical file movement, often causing delays and administrative hurdles.
The portal will benefit institutions working in traditional systems of medicine such as Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Homeopathy, and Sowa-Rigpa. Research bodies, NGOs, educational institutions, and healthcare organisations can now apply for grants online through a structured and paperless system.
One of the major features of the portal is its integration with the NGO Darpan platform, which allows faster verification and authentication of applicant institutions. The system also provides real-time application tracking, enabling organisations to monitor the progress of their proposals at every stage.
The initiative is part of the broader Ayush Grid programme, which focuses on digital transformation in the AYUSH ecosystem through technology-driven governance and healthcare management. Officials stated that the portal will enhance accountability, reduce processing time, and create a more transparent funding mechanism for the rapidly growing AYUSH sector in India.
The launch reflects the government’s continued push toward digital governance, ease of doing business, and strengthening traditional healthcare systems through modern administrative reforms.
