In the unfolding Panjagutta Rash Driving Case, the gravity of the allegations against former MLA Bodhan Shohail Alias Raheli has escalated. The police have identified him as the prime offender, as stated in the remand report of Abdul Asif, shedding light on critical details of the incident. According to law enforcement, Sohail took drastic measures by barricading the roads immediately after the rash driving episode, leading to increased concerns regarding the seriousness of the situation.
In response to the escalating events, authorities swiftly issued orders for Sohail to stay at home, indicating a potential attempt to evade legal consequences. Despite the order, Abdul Asif, associated with the case, was taken into custody, and the Panjagutta police promptly placed him in remand. However, the late-night scenario took an unexpected turn when Sohail made a rapid appearance at the police station, resulting in the hasty deployment of traffic barricades.
Accompanying Sohail were four individuals in the vehicle, including both male and female companions. The situation further intensified as it evolved into a high-speed chase, with Sohail successfully escaping the scene. Consequently, Sohail is now facing charges filed by the Panjagutta police under multiple sections, adding complexity to the investigation.
As the inquiry progresses, the police have raised concerns about the conduct of constables involved in the case. Sohail’s arrest led to extensive interrogations at the police station, and authorities are closely scrutinizing phone conversations he had with friends during the night, seeking potential evidence related to the case.
In a parallel development, health concerns have surfaced for Panjagutta Inspector Durgaravu. The Inspector, who is currently under investigation for his role in business dealings related to former MLA Shaqueel’s son, has been admitted to a care facility. This turn of events has taken a toll on Durgaravu’s mental well-being. He was urgently taken to KIMS Hospital on Banjara Hills Road No. 1 for a thorough examination by medical professionals in the emergency department. Presently, his health condition is reported to be stable, but further updates are eagerly awaited.
