On February 25th, Sunday night, police raided the Radisson hotel in Gachibowli and seized a large quantity of drugs. In this operation, three individuals were arrested, including a prominent businessman.
Details of the seized drugs are still awaited. DCP Vineeth stated that action has been taken against individuals connected with a well-known leader.
The DCP also mentioned that the investigation is ongoing, and details about the drugs and the people involved in it are yet to emerge.
Previous reports suggest that a BJP leader might be involved in this case.
The police also suspect that the former Chief Minister Rosaiah’s son-in-law and BJP leader Yoganandam’s son, Vivekananda, along with his friend, were using cocaine in the hotel room.
The police said that drug tests would be conducted for them, and cases will be registered based on the reports.
Vivekananda’s father, Yoganandam, had contested as a BJP candidate from the Serilingampally constituency.
