The NITI Aayog’s Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP), in collaboration with DP World, has launched a new initiative titled ‘We Rise: Women Entrepreneurs Reimagining Inclusive and Sustainable Enterprises’. This programme aims to empower women-led MSMEs across India by enhancing their global trade potential through mentorship, export readiness, and access to international markets.
Under WEP’s Award to Reward (ATR) initiative, the programme will support 100 women entrepreneurs, providing them with expert guidance, logistics support, and opportunities to showcase their products at Bharat Mart in Dubai, a global marketplace in the Jebel Ali Free Zone.
Established by NITI Aayog in 2018, WEP serves as a national aggregator supporting women entrepreneurs with finance, market access, training, and legal assistance. The partnership with DP World combines trade expertise with ecosystem support, reflecting India’s vision for inclusive economic growth and global competitiveness.
