AIPC Telangana Celebrates World MSME Day 2026; Leaders Call for Stronger MSME Ecosystem and Entrepreneur Empowerment
Hyderabad, June 27: The All India Professionals’ Congress (AIPC) – MSME Vertical, Telangana, under the leadership of Shri Shashank Pasupuleti, State Head, successfully organized World MSME Day 2026 at Media Plus Auditorium, Gunfoundry, Hyderabad. The conference brought together policymakers, international delegates, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, financial institutions, academicians, startup founders, and MSME stakeholders to deliberate on strengthening India’s Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) ecosystem.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Mahesh Kumar Goud, President of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC), described MSMEs as the backbone of India’s economy and emphasized their crucial role in employment generation, inclusive economic growth, and industrial development. He called for stronger policy support and greater encouragement for entrepreneurs to build a self-reliant and prosperous India.
Shri Sudhakar Sundaravel, National Head – MSME Vertical, AIPC, emphasized that the true success of MSME policies lies in ensuring that every eligible entrepreneur, particularly those at the grassroots level, benefits from government welfare schemes. He reaffirmed AIPC’s commitment to guiding and supporting entrepreneurs through awareness, institutional support, and access to government initiatives.
The programme featured keynote addresses by Dr. Zelalem Taffesse, Chief of UNICEF Telangana, who highlighted the importance of youth entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable development, and Ms. Tugce Gül, Commercial Attaché, Consulate General of Türkiye, who emphasized strengthening trade, investment, and industrial cooperation between India and Türkiye to create new opportunities for MSMEs.
Dr. Aditya Reddy Gillella, President, AIPC Telangana, reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to empowering entrepreneurs by promoting innovation, collaboration, and professional leadership. He stated that AIPC would continue to connect professionals, industry experts, and policymakers to strengthen the MSME ecosystem and create sustainable opportunities for entrepreneurs across Telangana.
Although Shri Mendu Srinivasulu, National Head – AIPC Agri Vertical, could not attend the programme in person, he addressed the gathering virtually and stated that “Agriculture is the backbone of India,” emphasizing stronger coordination between the Agriculture and MSME Verticals to promote agri-based entrepreneurship and rural development.
Shri Puttapaga Srinivas, Chairman, Confederation of MSMEs (C-MSME), highlighted that MSMEs are the driving force behind India’s industrial and economic development. He called for stronger collaboration between industry, financial institutions, and the Government to improve access to finance, technology, market linkages, and exports while encouraging innovation-led growth.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Shashank Pasupuleti, State Head – MSME Vertical, AIPC Telangana, presented a vision for transforming India’s agricultural economy through innovation-led MSMEs. He emphasized that agricultural waste, particularly cow dung, can be transformed into “Green Gold” through the production of organic fertilizers, bio-fertilizers, vermicompost, bio-energy, and eco-friendly products. He further announced that the AIPC MSME Vertical will serve as a strong bridge between entrepreneurs and the Government by connecting MSMEs with welfare schemes, financial assistance, skill development, market linkages, and export opportunities through a comprehensive statewide action plan.
Shri Irfan Aziz, Entrepreneur and Former Chapter President, AIPC, emphasized that innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaboration are key to strengthening India’s MSME sector and encouraged young entrepreneurs to build globally competitive enterprises.
Shri Abdullah Bakran, Deputy State Head – MSME Vertical, AIPC Telangana, stated that the conference created a common platform where entrepreneurs, industry leaders, policymakers, financial institutions, academicians, and experts could exchange ideas and recommend practical solutions for strengthening the MSME ecosystem across Telangana.


Shri B.V. Subba Rao, Environmentalist and Founder of SynTerra, emphasized the importance of sustainable development through environmentally responsible MSMEs. He encouraged entrepreneurs to adopt green technologies, waste management practices, and eco-friendly innovations, stating that sustainable industries are essential for building a cleaner environment and a stronger economy.
The programme was also attended by Shri Shekar Goud, Chairman, Toddy Cell; Shri Bomma Sriram, Chairman, Munnuru Kapu Corporation; Shri Rudra Santosh, National OBC AP In-charge President; Shri Sai Reddy, Youth Congress leader; and Ms. Mercy Priyanka Shakti Abyang, National Coordinator, who extended their support for entrepreneurship, innovation, youth empowerment, and inclusive MSME development.
The conference concluded with a collective commitment to strengthen collaboration among government, industry, professionals, entrepreneurs, and international partners to build a resilient MSME ecosystem capable of driving innovation, employment generation, exports, sustainable development, and inclusive economic growth.
