Uttar Pradesh is set to open Anokhi Duniya, the world’s first park built entirely from ceramic waste, by the end of September 2025. Located in Khurja, Bulandshahr district — India’s “ceramic capital” — the park showcases sustainability, innovation, and the region’s rich ceramic heritage.
Spread over two acres, the park has been developed under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model as part of the One District One Product (ODOP) scheme. Over 80 tonnes of discarded ceramic waste have been transformed into nearly 100 stunning artworks, including 28 large-scale installations crafted by six artists and 120 artisans.
With selfie points, a café, landscaped greenery, and eye-catching ceramic structures, the park promises a unique visitor experience. Built at a cost of ₹5.86 crore, it is expected to generate employment, attract tourists, and strengthen Khurja’s global identity as a ceramic hub.
By converting waste into art, Anokhi Duniya aligns with Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and the Yogi government’s vision of promoting eco-friendly development while reviving traditional industries.
